Sonsofday is an alternative rock band by four brothers. They’re pretty new, formed in 2005. They don’t even have their own page on Wikipedia yet so many probably haven’t heard of them yet.
Their first album Fragile People already captured my ear on my first run-through of the album. It’s very refreshing from the typical rock/punk-rock I’ve been listening to. Sonsofday describes their music as real life, authentic, and human, a true reflection of who they are as people. The music is really light-hearted, easy and not really emo.

The few songs that caught my attention at earlier points are This Place, Reconcile, Greatest Love, Riches and Wine, Another Day and Oceans Deep. It’s always like that, like I usually notice songs at the beginning and the end of the list. The middle always just goes on unnoticed until later on.
I’ve been racking my brain trying to come up with another band which has a similar sound to Sonsofday. So far the closest match I can think of is Dashboard Confessional, Lifehouse and The Rocket Summer. Although Sonsofday isn’t as emo as Lifehouse and the vocals aren’t as squeaky as The Rocket Summer. Lol.
