Career Talk @ KLCC

Some days ago, we attended this Career Talk in Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre. It was organized by five companies/firms of five different careers accounting - Price Waterhouse & Coopers, law - Raju, Darryl and Loh. engineering - Sime Darby, architecture - Veritas Architects and medicine - Malaysia Medical Association. Only science and accounts streams students were allowed to join. And guess what? This event was under Interact Club and we got to wear our uniforms! You should have seen the way people looked at us when we entered. Black shirt, black skirt, silver tie and heels. Everyone kept asking what school we were from. And I have to admit it myself, KF actually looked good looking but I can’t really think of him that way, we’ve been friends for far too long.

So then of course, other than going there to sit through speeches about career experience, prospects, yada yada yada…we scanned the area for guys. There were a couple of not too bad looking Indian guys, but then there was this Chinese guy from Price Waterhouse & Coopers. Okay, maybe he’s a little old (about 30+) but I just love the way he speaks. With a tinge of American accent. Almost all of the professionals there either had a little of British or American or Australian accents.

I didn’t manage to take much pictures. So here are the few that I took.
One of the few things Malaysia can actually be proud of.

That was all I took. Couldn’t be bothered to take more. Lolz.

Anyway, to keep you people posted with how I am now. I would say: tired, exhausted, lethargic, busy and busy. Sigh. Even after 2 months of this I’ve not gotten used to it yet. I barely had enough sleep. But I don’t know my schedule don’t really seem that busy yet I still feel stressed and drained out at the end of the day.

Oh well…I guess this is life. Actually I do like it a little, keeping myself busy. It prevents me from idling around doing nothing. Can’t really allocate time for stuff like that anymore. That’s why it took me so long to update my blog(s) nowadays. Pardon me for that.

Guess I’ve gotta go now. I can hear my English composition book calling my name. *rolls eyes* Here I go again.
